Mario’s is a popular landmark at 429 Canada Street, at the north end of Lake George Village, in the beautiful Adirondak Mountains of upstate New york, and is now marking its 54th year under one family ownership.Mario’s features original recipes like the “chicken calabrese” taught to current chef-owner Paul Nichols by his grandmother Mary Mazzeo, who founded the restaurant in 1954. Other specialties include seafood fra diavolo, osso buco alla mario & veal or chicken saltimboca.

Both Italian and American fare are featured, from imported pastas, with a vast array of made to order sauces, to fresh seafood, steaks, prime rib, chicken, chops, as well as our well known handcut veal specialties. A fine wine list is is also available to complete your meal as well as a special menu just for children.

king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, scallops & mussels, with linguini fin
Seafood Pasta Ala Mario
scallops, shrimp, langostino, fresh mushrooms, in a herb sherry cream sauce
Shrimp Marinara *
jumbo shrimp simmered in marinara sauce & served on angel hair pasta
Shrimp Parmigiana
deep fried jumbo shrimp, smothered with mozzarella cheese & tomato sauce
Shrimp Scampi ala Mario *
jumbo shrimp, garlic butter, white wine, on angel hair pasta or rice pilaf

    If you go to Marios (Lake George) get the Seafood Fra Diavola. It is truly the best.
